هَلَكَ الأَحوَلُ المَشو

هَلَكَ الأَحوَلُ المَشو

مُ فَقَد أُرسِلَ المَطَر

مُ فَقَد أُرسِلَ المَطَر

The ill-omened, cross-eyed man has perished;

The rainless one has perished and departed

so the rain has been sent.

The rains have been sent down in torrents

وَمَلَكنا مِن بَعدٍ ذا

وَمَلَكنا مِن بَعدٍ ذا

كَ فَقَد أَورَقَ الشَجَر

كَ فَقَد أَورَقَ الشَجَر

And we came to rule after that;

And we have a ruler who is just and wise

so the trees have put forth leaves.

So the trees are all clothed in leaves once more

فَاِشكُروا اللَهَ إِنَّهُ

فَاِشكُروا اللَهَ إِنَّهُ

زائِدٌ كُلَّ مَن شَكَر

زائِدٌ كُلَّ مَن شَكَر

So give thanks to God, for He

Give thanks to God for He gives increase

grants increase to everyone who gives thanks.

To all who give thanks for His blessings
