إن قلت في بصري فالدمع يشغله

إن قلت في بصري فالدمع يشغله

أو في فؤادي فنيران الهوى فيه

أو في فؤادي فنيران الهوى فيه

If I say, 'In my eyes,' tears occupy them;

If I say in my sight, then tears preoccupy it,

Or, 'In my heart,' the fires of love are there.

Or in my heart, then the fires of love are in it.
