So why does your heart conceal its fire?

    A third option you choose

After separation even if its current is overflowing

If it is not from a wound that festers

Except by them lies their revenge

If only I could bare my sword in their market

Until their blood avenges its return

If only all camels were like Salih's she-camel

I would not mind being its herder the next morning

Are either an accessible dove or its warning

Have allied and his supporters failed him

The chronic disease stirred his joints

And departing times banished its healers

He concealed his love until its insanity subsided

Yet the secrets roamed the tears of agony

Such as the full moon drawing near its light

From the onlooker’s eye yet its home keeps away

Its glance, shimmer, and stature so fair

And I see beauty warding off its shame

Of wonders that it tolerates with injustice

Euphrates water though its jars appeared
