سأرحَلُ عن جَنابِكَ غيرَ قالٍ

سأرحَلُ عن جَنابِكَ غيرَ قالٍ

بِشُكرٍ يفْغَمُ الآفاقَ نَشْرَا

بِشُكرٍ يفْغَمُ الآفاقَ نَشْرَا

I shall depart your presence, bearing no ill will,

With gratitude that fills the horizons with fragrance.

وما شُكرِي لِما أوليتَ كُفءٌ

وما شُكرِي لِما أوليتَ كُفءٌ

ولكنّي سأُبلي فيهِ عُذرَا

ولكنّي سأُبلي فيهِ عُذرَا

And my gratitude is no match for what you have bestowed,

Yet I shall do my utmost in it, leaving no cause for blame.
