بِاللهِ يا مُغرَىً بِهجرانِي

بِاللهِ يا مُغرَىً بِهجرانِي

وَيا مُبيحَ الدَّمعِ أَجْفاني

وَيا مُبيحَ الدَّمعِ أَجْفاني

By God, O you intent on forsaking me,

By God, O the one who refuses me

And O you who give tears access to my eyelids,

And O the one who allows my eyes to shed tears

هَلْ في القضَايا أَنَ مَن مَا جَنَى

هَلْ في القضَايا أَنَ مَن مَا جَنَى

يَخضعُ بالعُذرِ إِلى الجَاني

يَخضعُ بالعُذرِ إِلى الجَاني

Is it among the rulings that one who has done no wrong

Is it in fate that one who did no wrong

Should bow in apology to the wrongdoer?

Submits excuses to the wrongdoer
