ياO خَليلَيَّmy two friends قَدindeed مَلِلتُI have grown weary of ثَوائيmy stay
يا خَليلَيَّ قَد مَلِلتُ ثَوائي
بِالمُصَلِّat al-Musalla وَقَدand indeed شَنِئتُI have loathed البَقيعاal-Baqiʿ
بِالمُصَلِّ وَقَد شَنِئتُ البَقيعا
O my two friends, I have grown weary of my stay
