لَكَ الحَمدُ والمَنُّ ربَّ العِبادِ

لَكَ الحَمدُ والمَنُّ ربَّ العِبادِ

أَنتَ المَليكُ وأَنتَ الحَكَم

أَنتَ المَليكُ وأَنتَ الحَكَم

Yours are praise and bounty, O Lord of the servants.

All praise and bounty belong to You, Lord of all beings

You are the Sovereign, and You are the Judge.

You are the King, the Judge so wise

وَدِن دينَ رَبِّكَ حَتّى اليَقِينِ

وَدِن دينَ رَبِّكَ حَتّى اليَقِينِ

واجتَنِبَنَّ الهَوى والضَجَم

واجتَنِبَنَّ الهَوى والضَجَم

And follow your Lord's faith until certainty comes;

Hold firm to the faith of your Lord until certainty

And resolutely shun desire and crookedness.

And avoid vain desire and doubt's surmise

مُحَمداً أَرسَلَهُ بالهُدى

مُحَمداً أَرسَلَهُ بالهُدى

فَعاشَ غَنِياً وَلم يُهتَضَمُ

فَعاشَ غَنِياً وَلم يُهتَضَمُ

Muhammad—He sent him with guidance,

Muhammad His messenger, the guidance He brought

So he lived in abundance and was not oppressed.

So he lived rich, no want could victimize

عَطاءٌ مِنَ اللَهِ أُعطيتَه

عَطاءٌ مِنَ اللَهِ أُعطيتَه

وخَصَّ بِهِ اللَهُ أَهلَ الحَرَم

وخَصَّ بِهِ اللَهُ أَهلَ الحَرَم

A gift from God that you were given,

A gift from Allah, bestowed upon him

And with it God singled out the people of the Sacred Precinct.

With which Allah did the Holy sanctify

وقَد عَلِموا أَنَّهُ خَيرُهم

وقَد عَلِموا أَنَّهُ خَيرُهم

وفي بَيتِهِم ذِي النَدى والَكرَم

وفي بَيتِهِم ذِي النَدى والَكرَم

And they knew that he was the best of them,

And they knew he was the best of their band

And in their house, endowed with generosity and nobility.

In their home, where grace and nobility brand

يَعيبونَ ما قالَ لمّا دَعا

يَعيبونَ ما قالَ لمّا دَعا

وقَد فَرَّجَ اللَهُ إِحدى زِيغُ

وقَد فَرَّجَ اللَهُ إِحدى زِيغُ

They find fault with what he said when he called,

They fault what he says, when he makes his call

Yet God has dispelled one deviation,

Yet Allah has eased what twisted their hand

بِهِ وهو يَدعو بِصدقِ الحَديثِ

بِهِ وهو يَدعو بِصدقِ الحَديثِ

إِلى اللَهِ مِن قَبل زيغِ القَدَمِ

إِلى اللَهِ مِن قَبل زيغِ القَدَمِ

Through him, while he calls with truthful speech

With truth he calls out, an honest word

To God, before the foot strays.

To Allah, before crooked steps deterred

اَطيعوا الرَسولَ عُبادَ لآِلهٍ

اَطيعوا الرَسولَ عُبادَ لآِلهٍ

تنجَّونَ مِن شَرِ يَومٍ أَلم

تنجَّونَ مِن شَرِ يَومٍ أَلم

Obey the Messenger, O worshippers devoted to a deity;

Obey the Messenger, servants of the Divine

You will escape the evil of a day of pain.

You'll be saved from an evil day malign

تُنَجَّونَ مِن ظُلُماتِ العَذاب

تُنَجَّونَ مِن ظُلُماتِ العَذاب

وَمِن حَرِّ نارٍ عَلى مَن ظَلَم

وَمِن حَرِّ نارٍ عَلى مَن ظَلَم

You will be saved from the darknesses of torment,

Saved from dark torment and scalding blaze

And from the heat of a fire upon whoever did wrong.

For all who in injustice and wrongness stray

دَعانا النَبيُّ بِهِ خاتَمٌ

دَعانا النَبيُّ بِهِ خاتَمٌ

فَمَن لَم يُجِبهُ أَسرَّ النَدم

فَمَن لَم يُجِبهُ أَسرَّ النَدم

The Prophet, the seal, called us through it;

The Prophet called us, the final seal

So whoever did not answer him concealed regret.

Who ignores him shall regret then feel

نَبيُّ هُدىً صادِقٌ طَيبٌ

نَبيُّ هُدىً صادِقٌ طَيبٌ

رَحيمٌ رؤُوفٌ بِوصلِ الرَحِم

رَحيمٌ رؤُوفٌ بِوصلِ الرَحِم

A prophet of guidance, truthful and pure,

A prophet of guidance, honest and fair

Merciful and compassionate in maintaining kinship ties.

Merciful, gentle, kin he forbears

وَدَفعِ الضَعيفِ وَأَكلَ اليَتيم

وَدَفعِ الضَعيفِ وَأَكلَ اليَتيم

ونَهكِ الحُدودِ فَكُلٌّ حَرُم

ونَهكِ الحُدودِ فَكُلٌّ حَرُم

And spurning the weak and devouring the orphan's [wealth],

Protecting the weak and the orphan who shares

And violating the bounds—all are forbidden.

Upholding the law, all wrong ensnares

بِهِ خَتَمَ اللَهُ مِن قَبلَه

بِهِ خَتَمَ اللَهُ مِن قَبلَه

ومَن بَعدَهُ مِن نَبيٍّ خَتم

ومَن بَعدَهُ مِن نَبيٍّ خَتم

Through him God sealed what came before him,

With him Allah sealed what went before

And sealed off any prophet after him.

And what came after, prophets no more

يَموتُ كَما مَاتَ مَن قَد مَضى

يَموتُ كَما مَاتَ مَن قَد مَضى

يُردُّ إِلى اللَهِ باري النَسَم

يُردُّ إِلى اللَهِ باري النَسَم

He dies as those who passed before have died;

He dies as all dead before him have done

He is returned to God, Creator of souls,

To Allah returns the soul He has won

مَعَ الأَنبِيا في جِنانِ الخُلود

مَعَ الأَنبِيا في جِنانِ الخُلود

هُمُ أَهلُها غَيرَ حَلِّ القسم

هُمُ أَهلُها غَيرَ حَلِّ القسم

With the prophets in gardens of eternity.

With prophets in gardens eternity dons

They are its dwellers, save for the discharge of the oath.

Theirs is that realm, none else it apportions

وقُدِّسَ فِينا بِحبِّ الصَلاة

وقُدِّسَ فِينا بِحبِّ الصَلاة

جَميعاً وعَلّمَ خَطَّ القَلَم

جَميعاً وعَلّمَ خَطَّ القَلَم

And he was sanctified among us through love of prayer,

And prayer's love in us consecrated

All together; and he taught the pen's script,

And writing's form to all narrated

كِتاباً مِنَ اللَهِ نَقرأ بِهِ

كِتاباً مِنَ اللَهِ نَقرأ بِهِ

فَمَن يَعتَريهِ فَقدماً أَثَم

فَمَن يَعتَريهِ فَقدماً أَثَم

A book from God, from which we read;

A book from Allah we read and fulfill

So whoever assails it has long since sinned.

Who faults it surely offense and wrong fill

واني أَدينُ لَكُم أَنَّهُ

واني أَدينُ لَكُم أَنَّهُ

سَيُنجِزُكُم رَبُّكم ما زَعَم

سَيُنجِزُكُم رَبُّكم ما زَعَم

And I profess to you that

And I profess to you that He

Your Lord will fulfill for you what He declared.

Your Lord, will keep all He claimed to guarantee
