فَصَلَقنا في مُرادٍ صَلقَةً

فَصَلَقنا في مُرادٍ صَلقَةً

وَصُداءٍ أَلحَقَتهُم بِالثَّلَل

وَصُداءٍ أَلحَقَتهُم بِالثَّلَل

Then we dealt Murād a fierce blow,

We traveled with purpose through barren land

and Ṣudāʾ—a blow that brought them to ruin.

Echoes pursued them over the hills
