فَعِظامِ فَالبُرقاتِ جادَ عَلَيهِما

فَعِظامِ فَالبُرقاتِ جادَ عَلَيهِما

وَأَبَثَّ أَبطُنَهُ الثَبورَ بِهِ النَوى

وَأَبَثَّ أَبطُنَهُ الثَبورَ بِهِ النَوى

Then ʿIẓām, then al-Burqāt—rain fell abundantly upon them both.

The lightning flashed above their bones

And separation spread ruin within his inner depths through it.

And scattered among them seeds of piercing rain
