Take heed, O guest who seeks hospitality
at Batta, depart—Amr is not in his home.

And whenever a guest called on Abu Awfa,
a fire would be kindled for him, and a pot set cooking for him.
فَيُمسيso he passes the evening وَيُضحيand he passes the morning الضَيفُthe guest شَبعانَsated وَالقِرىand the hospitality

Thus the guest would be sated evening and morning, and the hospitality
was praiseworthy; after it, praise and remembrance endure.
