سَلَكوthey took الطَريقَthe road وَريقُهُمand their saliva بِحُلوقِهِمin their throats
سَلَكو الطَريقَ وَريقُهُم بِحُلوقِهِم
حَنَقاًin rage وَكادَتand it nearly تَستَمِرُّswept onward بِجُندُبِwith Jundub
حَنَقاً وَكادَت تَستَمِرُّ بِجُندُبِ
They took the road, their saliva caught in their throats,
With rage; and the road nearly carried Jundub away.
فَاِذهَبso go صُرَيمُSuraym فَلاso do not تُحَلَّنَever settle بَعدَهاafter this
فَاِذهَب صُرَيمُ فَلا تُحَلَّنَ بَعدَها
صِغواًa follower وَحُلّاًand a lodger بِالجَميعِamong the assembled host الحَوشَبِvast
صِغواً وَحُلّاً بِالجَميعِ الحَوشَبِ
So go, Suraym; never again settle
As a follower and lodger among the vast assembled host.
مَنَّbestowed favor الإِلاهُGod عَلَيكَupon you فَاِحمِلso accept مَنَّهُHis favor
مَنَّ الإِلاهُ عَلَيكَ فَاِحمِل مَنَّهُ
وَوَسيلَةٌand a bond لَكَfor you فيamong جَديلَةَJadilah فَاِذهَبِso go
وَوَسيلَةٌ لَكَ في جَديلَةَ فَاِذهَبِ
God has favored you, so accept His favor.
And you have a bond among Jadilah—so go.
