قُلْ لمن تاهُ بالجما

قُلْ لمن تاهُ بالجما

لِ ومَنْ دلّ بالكمالْ

لِ ومَنْ دلّ بالكمالْ

Tell whoever struts in beau—

Tell whoever boasts of beau-

—ty, and whoever flaunts perfection:

لا تَتَيهِوا ولم تَرَوْ

لا تَتَيهِوا ولم تَرَوْ

نِي فإنّي بلا مِثالْ

نِي فإنّي بلا مِثالْ

Do not strut—you have not yet seen—

Do not boast when you have not seen

—me; for I am beyond compare.

قد قَضَتْ لي بأنّها

قد قَضَتْ لي بأنّها

أَمتي الشمسُ والهِلالْ

أَمتي الشمسُ والهِلالْ

It has been decreed in my favor that

They have decreed in my favor that they are

my handmaid is the sun and crescent;

والإمامُ العزيزُ فِيَّ

قَؤُولٌ بذا المقالْ
