وأقام ملكُكَ ما أَقام ثَبِيرُ
May your dwellings and palaces never feel forlorn,
I did not feel lonely without you for four nights,
And may your reign endure as long as Thabir endures.
And your kingdom remained as solid as granite rock.

And may your dwellings rejoice in companionship; may it be clothed,
I found joy in your homelands, which were adorned,
Through you, in well-being—your flourishing palace.
With the beauty of your prosperous palace.

For an absence of one night, its precincts almost
Its corners almost wilted for the absence of a night,
Flew toward you, since you did not lodge in them.
When you did not come to it on a quick journey.

وبدا عليك له أسىً وزفير
And it lamented its longing, as a lover laments,
It complained like a lover complains of yearning,
And grief and deep sighs for you were plain in it.
Revealing for you a deep grief and sighing.

All its perfection was gone from the land that
The land you left behind lost all its perfection,
You left behind, so it came close to heaving.
It almost crumbled into debris after you were gone.

From you the sun draws light as it shines,
The sun is illuminated by you at its rising,
And the full moon shines at the sky's horizon.
And the moon shines in the sky's horizon.

How strange, a living man untouched by a glance
How amazing that the living whom your eyes,
From your eyes—how can he depart still seeing?
Did not glance upon for a moment can still see!

O noble chosen king, endowed with success,
And the upholder, the appointed successor, the victorious one.
Appointed ruler, and given triumph!

A waterer of a land you visited and lodged,
Sanctification and purification have indeed settled there.
Sanctified and purified by your presence.

The Mount had attained through Moses' excellence.
Mount Tur attained by the favor of Moses.

If it knew and understood, it would set forth—
If it could know and understand, your land would set out,
Its land, longing to make pilgrimage to you and visit you.
Yearning to perform pilgrimage, and visit you.

And indeed the palace you left behind lamented,
The palace you left behind complained,
After one night, what the forsaken one laments.
Of a night - it does not complain when abandoned!

Its stones shrank, and the least,
Lamented parting were boulders and rocks.
That the corridors and rocks complained of was separation.

It complained of the change of its heart and innermost being.
Within it, the loyal, young and old.
Both young and old sincere souls.
