يفرِّجُbrings relief اللهُGod منهاfrom them كلَّall ماthat which ورداhas befallen
Indeed, when the knots of affairs grow tight,
When matters grow too hard to disentangle
God brings relief from every trouble that arises from them.
God will bring relief for all that has occurred

فيon اليومthis day فارْجُthen hope لهاfor them ألاّthat ... not تدومَlast غداtomorrow
So too with time: if its calamities come
So too with fate, if disasters should strike
today, hope that they will not last tomorrow.
Then hope tomorrow they will not endure

How many a looming trouble, its onslaught feared,
How many a fearsome thing seemed close at hand
has had its difficult knots untied by fate!
Yet the destined decree made tame what was tied
ماhow أحسنَbeautiful الصبرَpatience فالْبَسهso wear it وإنand even if عظُمتْgrew great

How beautiful is patience—wear it; and however great
How good is patience - put it on
the calamity, hold fast to courage and endurance.
Calamity - stand fast and firm

By God, if I had command over my time,
By God, if I had power over my time
I would make it pure and untroubled for you forever.
I would make it purely, clearly yours always
