بِشارةٌ بالفتوح والظَفر

رؤياك فاسعَدْ بها على البَشَرِ

Glad tidings of conquests and victory—

Good tidings of conquest and triumph,

such is your vision; so rejoice in it above all humankind.

Your vision, so rejoice for it among people.

أنبأك الله في المنام بما

تبصره مقلتاك في السهر

تبصره مقلتاك في السهر

God told you in your dream of what

God has told you in your sleep of what

your two eyes behold while awake.

Your eyelids see during wakefulness.

رأيت آباءك الملوك وفي

أيديهم كلُّ صارمٍ ذَكَرِ

أيديهم كلُّ صارمٍ ذَكَرِ

You saw your forefathers, the kings, and in

Their hands every sharp sword,

فضاربوا أرؤس العُدَاة كما

تضِربها في الرواح والبُكَر

So they struck the enemies' heads, just as

Striking the heads of the transgressors as

you strike them in the evenings and early mornings.

They strike them in spirits and vigilance.

وإن رنا نحوك السَقامُ فقد

وإن رنا نحوك السَقامُ فقد

عاد غضيضَ الجفونِ والنظر

عاد غضيضَ الجفونِ والنظر

And if sickness gazed toward you, it has indeed

And if disease inclines toward you, gone is

turned back, its eyelids and gaze downcast.

The irritation of the eyelids and sight.

وقد كفى الله ما نحاذِره

وقد كفى الله ما نحاذِره

فيك وإن كنت غير ذي حَذَر

فيك وإن كنت غير ذي حَذَر

And God has indeed warded off what we fear

God has sufficed you from what we fear

for you, though you yourself are without fear.

For you, even if you are not cautious.

يا صفوة الله في بريَّته

يا صفوة الله في بريَّته

وسرّه في الكتاب والسُوَر

وسرّه في الكتاب والسُوَر

O God's chosen one among His creation,

O God's elite among His creation

and His secret in the Book and its chapters.

And His secret in the Book and chapters.
