كأنّه في نوره لابسٌ

نورَ الثنايا واحمرارَ الخدود

as though, in its radiance, it were wearing

As though clothed in its light, vividly bright,

the gleam of front teeth and the blush of cheeks.

Cheeks blushing red, folded robes light pale.
