ثم أنعمت باللقا

وانمحى أكثر الشقا

وانمحى أكثر الشقا

Then you favored me with a meeting,

Then I was blessed by the meeting

إنما قط ما زقى

بيننا للصفا هديل

Yet never has there sounded

في رياض من البهار

ذهبت فضة العقار

In gardens of yellow bahar flowers,

فاسقنيها كما أشار

ذلك الصادح النبيل
