O nights of joy, return to us,
O nights of joy return to us
bringing the moon-cheeked gazelles of Jilliq.
With cheeks like shining moons, restful and serene

إن تناسيتها بملك الخورنق
That evening—may my hand forget the embrace of beautiful women
If I forgot her the King of Khorene would forget
if I ever deliberately forget it for the kingdom of al-Khawarnaq.
My hand's embrace of tender maidens
