ملاذي بل ملاذ الناس طرّاً

ملاذي بل ملاذ الناس طرّاً

بك ازدان الورى وزها وعيَّدْ

My refuge—indeed, the refuge of all people.

Through you, humankind grew splendid, shone, and celebrated.

فحكمك كله عدلٌ وفضلٌ

فحكمك كله عدلٌ وفضلٌ

وحلمك كله شرفٌ وسؤدد

وحلمك كله شرفٌ وسؤدد

For your rule is wholly justice and generosity.

And your forbearance is wholly honor and eminence.

وكل زمانك المحمود عيدٌ

وكل زمانك المحمود عيدٌ

ينادي أحمد الأعياد أحمد

ينادي أحمد الأعياد أحمد

And all your praiseworthy days are a festival.

The most praiseworthy of festivals calls out: “Ahmad!”
