My lord, fortune's garden has not withered,
My Master, the garden of joy has not withered,
nor has the sanctuary of purity and generosity faded away.
Nor has the zeal for excellence and generosity diminished,

And the wine remains radiant,
And the wind is still gloriously blowing,
revealing to us a gleam of its light.
Shedding some of its light upon us,

So hurry, that we may sip it, well aged,
So let us hurry to inhale its free air,
from a monastery, knowing no impurity.
A monastery that knows no impurity.

If you tasted its saliva, my lord,
If you were to taste it, my Master,
you would take it, for its sweetness, for the savor of dusky lips.
You would think it honeycomb from its sweetness.

If he is true, I shall ride a steed.
