May God pardon this physician, for he

May Allah forgive this doctor, for he

Shed worldly desire with religion’s keen-edged sword,

Poured out the love of this world with the scales of faith

وداوى عباد اللَه من كل أمةٍ

وساوى بعدلٍ بن مثرٍ ومسكين

And treated God’s servants from every nation,

And healed the servants of Allah of every nation

And justly treated rich and poor alike.
