بغزال سما الغزالة نورا

بغزال سما الغزالة نورا

God has increased our delight and joy

God has increased our joy and happiness

Through a gazelle who outshone the sun in radiance,

With a gazelle whose beauty lights up the sky

وطبيب غدا الأصم سميعاً

وطبيب غدا الأصم سميعاً

حين داواه والضرير بصيرا

حين داواه والضرير بصيرا

And a physician—the deaf became able to hear

And a doctor who made the deaf hear

When he treated him, and the blind able to see.

When he cured him and the blind see

لم يدع في القلوب داءً دفيناً

لم يدع في القلوب داءً دفيناً

غير ما عم من هواه الصدورا

غير ما عم من هواه الصدورا

He left no hidden ailment in hearts

He left no hidden disease in hearts

Except the love for him that pervaded every breast.

Except what has spread from his love in breasts
