مَنWho مُبلِغٌwill convey عَنّيfrom me المُثَلَّمَal-Muthallam آيَةًa message
مَن مُبلِغٌ عَنّي المُثَلَّمَ آيَةً
وَسَهلاًand Sahl فَقَدfor indeed نَفَّرتُمyou have frightened away الوَحشَthe wild beasts أَجمَعاall
وَسَهلاً فَقَد نَفَّرتُم الوَحشَ أَجمَعا
Who will convey a message from me to al-Muthallam
And Sahl? For you have frightened all the wild beasts away.
هُمُthey إِخوَتيmy brothers ديناًin faith فَلاso do not تَقرُبَنَّهُمever approach them
هُمُ إِخوَتي ديناً فَلا تَقرُبَنَّهُم
أَباO father of حَشرَجHashraj وَأَفحَصَand scrape out لِجَنبَيكَfor your two sides مَضجَعاa resting place
أَبا حَشرَج وَأَفحَصَ لِجَنبَيكَ مَضجَعا
They are my brothers in faith, so do not approach them,
O Abu Hashraj, and scrape out a resting place for your flanks.
