Were the judges’ crumbling remains resurrected, adorned would be

their days by the advocacy of Ibn Sawar.

A champion who charges at his opponents with a tongue

sharp, and charges like a mounted warrior.

Kings’ gates are adorned by him, just as

wearing a bracelet adorns a lovely hand.

So I shall surely raise his rank above Shurayh’s,

and I shall surely glory in him over Sawwar.
