مُجاهِدَ الدينِ عِشتَ ذُخراً

مُجاهِدَ الدينِ عِشتَ ذُخراً

لِكُلِّ ذي حاجَةٍ وَكَنزا

لِكُلِّ ذي حاجَةٍ وَكَنزا

Mujahid al-Din, may you live as a source of support

You lived as a treasure, Mujahid ad-Din

for everyone in need, and as a treasure.

For all in need and a prize

بَعَثتَ لي بَغلَةً وَلَكِن

بَعَثتَ لي بَغلَةً وَلَكِن

قَد مُسِخَت في الطَريقِ عَنزا

قَد مُسِخَت في الطَريقِ عَنزا

You sent me a female mule, but

You sent me a mule but

it was transformed into a she-goat along the way.

It turned into a goat on the way
