مَن يتَّبِعْ رَأيَ الأمانِي

مَن يتَّبِعْ رَأيَ الأمانِي

لم يَنْجُ مِن مَطْلِ التَّوانِي

لم يَنْجُ مِن مَطْلِ التَّوانِي

Whoever follows the counsel of wishes

Whoever follows fanciful opinions

will not escape the delays of indolence.

Will not escape from procrastination's grasp
