بلُحومِ الأنامِ مَن يتغَذَّى
ذاقhas tasted جُوعاًhunger منin matters of النَّدَىgenerosity والمَعالِيand nobility
ذاق جُوعاً من النَّدَى والمَعالِي
Whoever feeds on the flesh of humankind
Has tasted hunger in matters of generosity and nobility.
