طه كَمُلَتْ صِفاتُه والخلُقُ

مُذْ زُيِّن في الوجودِ له النَّسَقُ

Taha—his attributes and character attained perfection,

Taha, his qualities were perfected, and his character,

Since the order of existence was adorned for him.

Ever since his appearance was adorned in existence.

بحرٌ عَذُبَتْ مَوارِدُ الشُّرْبِ به

بحرٌ عَذُبَتْ مَوارِدُ الشُّرْبِ به

لولاه لَما اسْتُخْرِج منه العَلَقُ

A sea whose drinking places grew sweet through him;

A sweet sea, the sources of drinking water were purified by it,

But for him, the clotted blood would not have been drawn from him.

Without it, sustenance would not have been extracted from it.
