May God water a garden in whose shade we delighted,
God watered a garden, whose shade we enjoyed,
And it has no neighbor but its flowing river.
With no neighbor but its gushing stream.

When its gray doves and its birds sing,
When its leaves sing and its birds chirp,
The hands of the waters begin to clap in rapture.
The hands of water clap with delight.
