إذا رُمْتَ أمْراً فكُنْ طالباً

برِفْقٍ ففي الرِّفْقِ نَيْلُ الصَّلاحْ

برِفْقٍ ففي الرِّفْقِ نَيْلُ الصَّلاحْ

If you desire something, then seek it

If you desire a matter, then be

With gentleness, for in gentleness lies the attainment of goodness.

Gentle in seeking it, for in gentleness is the attainment of excellence.

ففي الرِّفْفِ والصبرِ للمُرْتَجِي

ففي الرِّفْفِ والصبرِ للمُرْتَجِي

لِقاحَ الصَّلاحِ جَناحُ النَّجاحْ

لِقاحَ الصَّلاحِ جَناحُ النَّجاحْ

For in gentleness and patience, for one who hopes

So in gentleness and patience for the seeker

For goodness to bear fruit, lies the wing of success.

Is the wing of excellence and the attainment of success.
