1. أمير قد بنى لله بيتا

    فأسسه على التقوى وعمر

    An emir has built a house for God;

    So he founded it upon piety and built it up,

  2. وفضله عقودا محكماتٍ

    فأشهد أنهن عقودُ جوهر

    And enhanced it with firmly built arches—

    So I testify that they are necklaces of jewels.
