فِي الأفقْ طه بِالنجُومُ لَورَايَاتْ

والقطبْ أذْعَنْ والقَمَرْ لُو كَلّمْ

والقطبْ أذْعَنْ والقَمَرْ لُو كَلّمْ

On the horizon, Taha has banners among the stars.

In the horizon, the stars are Taha's banners

And the Pole Star submitted, and the moon spoke to him.

The North Star has bowed down and the moon would speak if able

والنطح وَقَّرْ والثريَّا دَانِتْ

والنطح وَقَّرْ والثريَّا دَانِتْ

والفرعْ مَجَّدْ والحمل لُو عَظّمْ

والفرعْ مَجَّدْ والحمل لُو عَظّمْ

And al-Nath showed reverence, and the Pleiades submitted.

And al-Far‘ glorified him, and the Ram exalted him.

The branch glorified and Aries magnified

والجدي يثْنِي والنَّعَائِمْ تمدَحْ

والقلبْ صَلَّى والمقاتل سَلَّمْ

والقلبْ صَلَّى والمقاتل سَلَّمْ

And al-Jady extols him, and the Ostriches praise him.

The goat bends its knees and bounties are praised

And the Heart invoked blessings, and the Warrior offered salutations.

The heart has prayed and the warrior surrendered
