ياO رَبّLord بالمُصْطَفَىby al-Mustafa (the Chosen One) سَخّرmake subservient لناto us كَرَماout of generosity
يا رَبّ بالمُصْطَفَى سَخّر لنا كَرَما
رِيحاa wind يُسَلّمُنَاsaves us مِنْfrom عَابِدِworshipper of الصَّنَمِthe idol
رِيحا يُسَلّمُنَا مِنْ عَابِدِ الصَّنَمِ
O Lord, by al-Mustafa, graciously place at our service
O Lord, by Muhammad make a generous wind obey us
a wind that saves us from the idol-worshipper.
A wind that delivers us from the idol worshipper
فإنّنِيfor indeed I مِنْكَfrom You بالإسْلاَمِthrough Islam فِيin حَرَمٍa sanctuary
فإنّنِي مِنْكَ بالإسْلاَمِ فِي حَرَمٍ
وَقَدْand indeed أمَرْتَYou commanded بِمَنْعِto forbid الصَّيْدِhunting فيin الحَرَمthe sanctuary
وَقَدْ أمَرْتَ بِمَنْعِ الصَّيْدِ في الحَرَم
For through Islam I am in a sanctuary granted by You,
For I, by Islam, am in a sanctuary
and You have commanded that hunting be forbidden in the sanctuary.
And You have ordered to forbid hunting in the sanctuary
