How could it, when you are Merciful and Compassionate?

For you are Powerful, Kind and Wise.

when my reliance is your beloved, O Forbearing One?
When my reliance is on your beloved, O Forbearing One?

بِمَدْحِthrough praise of المُصْطَفَىthe Chosen One كهفٌa cave رَقيمُinscribed
بِمَدْحِ المُصْطَفَى كهفٌ رَقيمُ
And far be it that I should be wronged, for I have been sheltered
Far be it that I should suffer, for I have been blessed
through praise of the Chosen One, by an inscribed cave.
With praising the Chosen One, a sure refuge.
وَلُذْتُand I sought refuge بِجَاهِهِin his standing لأنَالَto attain قَصْدِيmy aim
وَلُذْتُ بِجَاهِهِ لأنَالَ قَصْدِي

فَعِنْدَكَ جَاهُهُ الجَاهُ العَظِيمُ
And I sought refuge in his standing, that I might attain my aim;
I hold fast to his standing that I may attain my wish
for his standing with you is great indeed.
For with you his standing is the greatest standing.

قَضِيتُ البانِ أوْ هَبَّ النَّسِيمُ
Upon him be my Lord's blessing, as long as there sways
Upon him be the prayers of my Lord for as long
a bān-tree bough (apparently intended), or the breeze blows.
As the wafting breeze stirs or the night falls still.
