إلهِي إلهِي بِالْحَبِيبِ مُحَمَّدٍ

إلهِي إلهِي بِالْحَبِيبِ مُحَمَّدٍ

أقِلْ عَثْرَتِي وَاغْفِرْ ذُنُوبِي وَنَجِّنِي

أقِلْ عَثْرَتِي وَاغْفِرْ ذُنُوبِي وَنَجِّنِي

My God, my God, for the sake of the beloved Muhammad,

My God, my God, for the sake of the beloved Muhammad

Pardon my stumble, forgive my sins, and save me.

Lessen my missteps and forgive my sins and save me

وَلاَ تُخْزِ وَجْهِي يَا كَرِيمُ وَجَازِنِي

وَلاَ تُخْزِ وَجْهِي يَا كَرِيمُ وَجَازِنِي

عَلَى الْمَدْحِ فِي طَهَ بِعَفْوِكَ وَاحْمِنِي

عَلَى الْمَدْحِ فِي طَهَ بِعَفْوِكَ وَاحْمِنِي

And do not put my face to shame, O Generous One, and reward me

Do not disgrace my face, O Generous one, and help me

For praising Taha—with Your pardon—and protect me.

To praise Taha (Muhammad), by Your pardon, and protect me

فَأنْتَ الَّذِي أحْسَنْتَ لِلْخَلْقِ كُلِّهِمْ

فَأنْتَ الَّذِي أحْسَنْتَ لِلْخَلْقِ كُلِّهِمْ

وَمَنْ ذاَ الذِي يُدْعَى سِوَاكَ بِمُحْسِنِ

وَمَنْ ذاَ الذِي يُدْعَى سِوَاكَ بِمُحْسِنِ

For You are the One who has done good to all creation,

For You are the One who was good to all creation

And who other than You is called a benefactor?

And who else is there to be called upon with goodness but You?
