أنَاI ضَيْفُguest of الكَرِيمِthe Generous One بِكُلّin every أرْضٍland
أنَا ضَيْفُ الكَرِيمِ بِكُلّ أرْضٍ
وإنand even if ضَاقَتْit grows narrow تَقومُit stands بِيَfor me اتِّسَاعَاin spaciousness
وإن ضَاقَتْ تَقومُ بِيَ اتِّسَاعَا
I am the Generous One's guest in every land.
I am the noble's honored guest, in every land
And even if it grows narrow, it makes ample room for me.
And should it narrow, it expands to accommodate me
فكيفَhow, then أضِيقُI feel constrained أوْor أخْشَىI fear ضَيَاعاًruin
فكيفَ أضِيقُ أوْ أخْشَى ضَيَاعاً
وَضَيْفُand the guest of اللَّهِGod لاَnot يَخْشَىhe fears ضَيَاعَاruin
وَضَيْفُ اللَّهِ لاَ يَخْشَى ضَيَاعَا
How, then, could I feel constrained or fear ruin?
So why should I feel confined or fear getting lost?
And God's guest does not fear ruin.
For God's guest need not fear loss or being lost
