He let his hair fall over his cheek—
He let his hair fall upon his cheek
A full moon whose habit is haughtiness.
A moon whose wandering became its habit

أمَا خَشِيتَ سَوَادَهْ
And he walked through it, so we said,
And it went about in it, so we said
“Did you not fear its darkness?”
"Have you no fear of its darkness?"
فَقَالَso he said وَجْهِيmy face صَبِيحٌfair; beautiful
فَقَالَ وَجْهِي صَبِيحٌ

قُلْنَا صَبَاحَ السَّعادَه
So he said, “My face is fair.”
But he said "My face is radiant"
We said, “A morning of happiness!”
We said "Good morning to happiness"
