والشمس في الآفَاقِ خَدٌّ قد بَدَتْ

في حُلَّةٍ صَفْراءَ من إسْتَبْرَقِ

في حُلَّةٍ صَفْراءَ من إسْتَبْرَقِ

And the sun has appeared as a cheek upon the horizons,

The sun on the horizon is a cheek unveiled,

in a yellow robe of thick silk brocade,

In a yellow robe of satin brocade,

أوْ جَامَةٌ من عسجد قد ركِّبَتْ

أوْ جَامَةٌ من عسجد قد ركِّبَتْ
