مَلِكٌ أوْضَحَ مِنْهَاجَ الهُدَى

مَلِكٌ أوْضَحَ مِنْهَاجَ الهُدَى

فَاهْتَدَى مَنْ ضَلْ

فَاهْتَدَى مَنْ ضَلْ

A king who made clear the path of guidance,

A king made clear the path of guidance

So whoever had strayed found the way,

So he who was astray found his way

وَمَحَا غَيْهَبَ عُدْوَانِ العِدَى

وَمَحَا غَيْهَبَ عُدْوَانِ العِدَى

بِصَبَاحِ العَدلْ

بِصَبَاحِ العَدلْ

And dispelled the deep darkness of the foes’ aggression

And erased the darkness of the enemy's aggression

With the morning light of justice.

With the dawn of justice

خَالِدُ المَجْدِ رَوَى غيثَ النَّدَى

خَالِدُ المَجْدِ رَوَى غيثَ النَّدَى

عنهُ يحيى الفَضلْ

عنهُ يحيى الفَضلْ

Everlasting in glory—the rain of generosity was recounted

Eternal in glory, he brought the rain of benevolence

On his authority by Yahya of excellence.

Through him, virtue is revived
