حتّى اِستجبتُ على كُرهٍ إلى الغزلِ
He kept beguiling me with gentleness and guile,
He still deceives me with kindness and tricks
until, against my will, I yielded to courtship.
Until I reluctantly responded to the flirtation

By God, a lovesick man's heart fell prostrate
