لا تخشَ من غائلةٍ فُوِّضَتْ

لا تخشَ من غائلةٍ فُوِّضَتْ

إلى الإلهِ القادرِ العالمِ

إلى الإلهِ القادرِ العالمِ

Fear no calamity entrusted

to God, the All-Powerful, the All-Knowing.

ونَمْ إذا شئتَ فإنّ الّذي

ونَمْ إذا شئتَ فإنّ الّذي

يرعاك فيها ليس بالنّائمِ

يرعاك فيها ليس بالنّائمِ

And sleep if you wish, for the One who

watches over you amid it is not asleep.

كم ذا وَقَى اللّهُ بألْطافِهِ

كم ذا وَقَى اللّهُ بألْطافِهِ

شَرَّ غَشومٍ مُجمِعٍ عازمِ

شَرَّ غَشومٍ مُجمِعٍ عازمِ

How often has God, through His gracious favors, warded off

the evil of a ruthless oppressor, resolved and determined!

وكَم أَزال اللَّهُ من ظالمٍ

وكَم أَزال اللَّهُ من ظالمٍ

وأنصفَ القاعدَ من قائمِ

وأنصفَ القاعدَ من قائمِ

And how many an oppressor has God removed,

and secured justice for the seated against the standing!
