I embroider with meanings,

I embroider with meanings

تَحَيَّرَ الناسُ مِمّا

تَحَيَّرَ الناسُ مِمّا

فيهِ مِنَ الإِفتِنانِ

فيهِ مِنَ الإِفتِنانِ

people are bewildered by

People are confused by

the artistry it contains.

What it contains of charm

فَلا تَكَن تَحتَ شَكٍّ

فَلا تَكَن تَحتَ شَكٍّ

مِن حُسنِهِ الفَتّانِ

مِن حُسنِهِ الفَتّانِ

So have no doubts

So do not doubt

about its enchanting beauty,

Its captivating beauty

فَلَستُ آتيكَ مِنهُ

فَلَستُ آتيكَ مِنهُ

إِلّا بِسِحرِ البَيانِ

إِلّا بِسِحرِ البَيانِ

for I bring you nothing of it

I do not come to you with it

but the magic of eloquence.

Except with the magic of rhetoric
