We have a boon companion suited to the likes of us.

He gladdens sorrow's heart whenever it grows sore.

Merriment has unfurled, and he trails it,

Drinking sometimes in the evening, and sometimes in the morning.

Whenever we ask him for something amusing,

The waterwheel of his memory brings forth witticisms.
