الجَوُّ قَد جَلَتِ الثُرَيّا نَفسَها

الجَوُّ قَد جَلَتِ الثُرَيّا نَفسَها

فيهِ بِما صاغَت لَها الأَضواءُ

فيهِ بِما صاغَت لَها الأَضواءُ

The sky—the Pleiades has revealed herself

The atmosphere has adorned itself

within it, with what the lights have fashioned for her.

with what the lights have crafted for it

فَكَأَنَّهُ رامٍ عَلَيهِ غِيارُهُ

فَكَأَنَّهُ رامٍ عَلَيهِ غِيارُهُ

وَعَلى الغِيارِ خَريطَةٌ بَيضاءُ

وَعَلى الغِيارِ خَريطَةٌ بَيضاءُ

So it is like an archer wearing his distinctive garb,

So it's as though its lover attacks it

and upon the garb is a white pouch.

and on the lover a white map
