The blossoms are folded and unfurled,

And the raindrops are strung and scattered.

So behold eglantine for us; from it, in

The boughs' storehouses, camphor is found.

And if the rose is agate upon

Peridot, then the water is crystal.

So bring her, a virgin, upon whose neck

A collar of silver is fastened.

For the sky's mole-fur has now become

A lining, and the clouds are sable.
