Morning and evening, I am
In early morn and evening lull,
Restless over one whose sash hangs loose:
I’m restless as the restless wind.

A gazelle, loved for what
A gazelle who loves the chill,
His mouth holds of hail and wine.
Of blowing breeze and morning kind.

The down on his cheek is likened to
His cheeks do such a tale unfurl,
A night bewildered amid morning.
Bewildered in the dawn's first light.
