Ibn Jurayj has a bitter disposition,
The son of Jurayj is moral rottenness,
And the path of his companionship is rugged.
His companions are depraved wild folk.

A dullard—you see him swaggering,
You see blood dripping from him, a gushing stream,
Yet he has no power to forbid or command.
He has no restraint or command.

If the desert emerges from his face,
If the desert reveals its face to him,
A grave wafts its odor toward it from his face.
His face brings upon it only ruin.
