And a wine that boasts of its fragrant breaths

A breeze wandering with its breath

above the fragrance wafting from ambergris;

Over the fragrance of ambergris wafting

كَأَنَّ زُجاجَتِها دُرَّةٌ

كَأَنَّ زُجاجَتِها دُرَّةٌ

تَشِفُّ عَلى الذَهَبِ الأَحمَرِ

تَشِفُّ عَلى الذَهَبِ الأَحمَرِ

as though its bottle were a pearl,

As if its bottle were a pearl

translucent over the red gold.
