وأحرَقَهُ بجَمرةِ وجنتَيهِ

The beauty of the gazelle among us captured my heart,

The beauty of the gazelle captivated my heart

And burned it with the ember of his cheeks.

And burned it with the embers of its cheeks

وكيفَ ترومُ عَن هَذا دلِيلاً

وكيفَ ترومُ عَن هَذا دلِيلاً

وذَا لَونُ الرُّمَان بِمُقلَتيهِ

وذَا لَونُ الرُّمَان بِمُقلَتيهِ

And how can you seek proof of this,

How can you seek proof other than this?

When this pomegranate hue is in his eyes?
