لِذِكرِه صَاحِ فَخرُ

لِذِكرِه صَاحِ فَخرُ

وذِكرُهُ فينا أمرُ

وذِكرُهُ فينا أمرُ

In his remembrance, O friend, there is pride.

His remembrance a goblet of pride

And his remembrance is a matter among us.

And his memory amongst us a matter of honor

لِذِكرِه فخرٌ نَبيلٌ طَيِّبٌ

لِذِكرِه فخرٌ نَبيلٌ طَيِّبٌ

وهو لنا تُهامِىٌ مَحبوبُ

وهو لنا تُهامِىٌ مَحبوبُ

In his remembrance there is noble, wholesome pride.

His remembrance, a noble fragrant pride

And he is our beloved Tuhami.

And he is for us a beloved wish fulfilled
